Shì Xìng Tǒng 釋性𣻢 (fl. late Wànlì, c. 1580–1620), zì Yùnhuī 蘊輝, of Yìngtiān 應天 (modern Nánjīng). Late-Míng Buddhist clergyman and anthologist; joint biān compiler with 釋正勉 Shì Zhèngmiǎn of the Gǔjīn chánzǎo jí 古今禪藻集 KR4h0135 — the comprehensive 28-juǎn anthology of Chinese monastic verse from the Eastern Jìn down to his own time. The Sìkù tíyào notes that the anthology’s terminal piece is Xìng Tǒng’s own composition, so he is also represented as a contributor in the work. No independent biography or further works survive; no CBDB record. The character 𣻢 (U+23ED2) is a rare variant — some sources transcribe the name as 性𣻢 or 性湯 depending on the typesetting.
