Jīn Yòuzī 金幼孜 (1368–1431), míng Shàn 善, Yòuzī 幼孜 (he went by his ), posthumous title Wénjìng 文靖. Native of Xīngàn 新淦 (Línjiāng, Jiāngxī). Hóngwǔ 33 (= Jiànwén 2 = 1400) jìnshì; entered the cabinet in early Yǒnglè (1402); served the four reigns Tàizōng (Yǒnglè), Rénzōng (Hóngxī), Xuānzōng (Xuāndé), early Yīngzōng; rose to Wényuāngé dàxuéshì 文淵閣大學士 jointly Lǐbù shàngshū. Accompanied Chéngzǔ on the northern campaigns; author of Běizhēng lù 北征錄 (catalogued in KR2c). One of the five participants in the pact-of-mutual-death at the Yān-army’s entry into Nánjīng (1402; cf. KR4e0077 tíyào). Míng shǐ j. 147. Surviving works: KR4e0094 Jīn Wénjìng jí (10 juǎn), edited by his son Jīn Zhāobó 金昭伯; the Wàijí (1 juǎn) and Běizhēng jí (1 juǎn) recorded by Qiānqǐngtáng shūmù are no longer extant.
