Qiánlóng / Jiā-qìng-era poet and literatus of Rénhé 仁和 (Hángzhōu prefecture, Zhèjiāng). A documented member of the late-Qián-lóng Hángzhōu literary circle around Yuán Méi 袁枚 and Wáng Wénzhì 王文治 (he should be carefully distinguished from his namesake Yuán Méi 袁枚 — the great Suíyuán shīrén — to whom he is sometimes mistakenly conflated). He contributed the postface to his neighbour-physician 毛世洪 Máo Shìhóng’s KR3er095 Yīxué sānxìn biān, identifying Máo as Fēngshān Máo xiānshēng. His death in 1804 provides a terminus ante quem for the Sānxìn biān.
