A late-Míng Buddhist commentator associated with Xīhú 西湖 (Hángzhōu); credited by 行策 Jiéliú Xíngcè with the Xīhú Jiànyī shū on the Śūraṃgama-sūtra, a commentary Xíngcè singled out as best exemplifying the principle of “abandoning self and following the sūtra.”
