Yán Míngguǎng 閻明廣 (fl. mid-12th c., 金), Jīn-dynasty acupuncturist of Chángshān 常山 (modern Héběi). Author of the foundational Zǐwǔ liúzhù zhēn jīng 子午流注針經 (KR3ee045, 1153, zhēnyuán guǐyǒu), the systematic Jīn-period treatise that establishes the zǐwǔ liúzhù chronoacupuncture doctrine — the assignment of specific acupoints to specific celestial-stem / earthly-branch hour-and-day combinations. Yán’s work synthesized the earlier 10th-century Zhǐwēi lùn 指微論 and Zhǐwēi zhēn fù 指微針賦 of Hé Ruòyú 何若愚 (南唐何公). The doctrine was further developed in the JīnYuán by his successor Dòu Hànqīng (KR3ee017) and systematized into the standard form by the Míng Xú Fèng (KR3ee002).
