Chén Hào 陳浩
Mid-Qīng court scholar and Sìkù-period editor, attached to the editorial committee of the Shísān jīng zhùshū imperial reissue (1747, Qiánlóng 12) under the Qiánlóng court. Co-author with 朱良裘 (Zhū Liángqiú) and 李清植 (Lǐ Qīngzhí) of the kǎozhèng 考證 (textual-critical) apparatus appended to the Zhōuyì zhèngyì in the WYG / Sìkù recension (= part of KR1a0007).
CBDB has multiple homonymous “Chén Hào” entries; the Qīng Sìkù-period figure is most likely either CBDB 68827 (b. 1692) or CBDB 68828 (b. 1693), both Qīng-dynasty jìnshì of the Yōngzhèng or Qiánlóng era. Disambiguation is not attempted here.
Note: a Yuán-dynasty Chén Hào 陳浩 (1244–1294, CBDB 107959) is the author of the standard Lǐjì jí shuō 禮記集說 (1308 preface posthumously by his son), an unrelated figure who happens to share the same name.
