Chén Xiángdào 陳祥道 (1042–1093), zì Yòngzhī 用之, native of Fúzhōu 福州 (Mǐn 閩, Fújiàn). Northern Sòng official-and-classicist of the Wáng Ānshí school (a kè 客 / client-disciple of Wáng Ānshí; recorded in Cháo Gōngwǔ’s Dúshū zhì under the Lúnyǔ jiě item). Jìnshì under Xǔ Shǎozhāng’s list (1059); held office for 27 years culminating as Tàicháng bóshì (1093) before his death the same year. His major scholarly work is the Lǐshū 禮書 KR1d0084 in 150 juan — the principal Wáng-Ān-shí-school Sānlǐ monograph, presented to the throne in Yuányòu 7 (1092). His brother Chén Yáng 陳暘 composed the parallel Yuèshū 樂書 in 200 juan, the major Northern Sòng music monograph. Sòng shǐ j. 432. CBDB id 47952 (1042–1093).
