Chén Liánhén 陳蓮痕 was a prolific Republican-era popular fiction writer specializing in fictionalized narratives of Qīng court life and imperial scandal. Works attributed to him in the Kanripo corpus include Qiánlóng Xiū Qī 乾隆休妻 (KR4k0307), Shùnzhì Chūjiā 順治出家 (KR4k0317), and Tóngzhì Piāoyuàn 同治嫖院 (KR4k0323). The three works form a series of fictionalized imperial biographies of Qīng emperors, covering the Shùnzhì, Qiánlóng, and Tóngzhì reigns respectively. No biographical details have been located; active ca. 1910s–1930s.
