Lù Zōngkǎi 陸宗楷 (?–1773)
Qing scholar-official; native of Pínghú 平湖, Zhèjiāng. Jìnshì of Yōngzhèng 1 (1723). Held the offices of Hànlínyuàn shìjiǎngxuéshì 翰林院侍講學士 and zhāolùnguān 詔論官 under the Qiánlóng emperor.
In the Sìkù quánshū compilation Lù Zōngkǎi appears as the named kǎozhèng 考證 author appended to several of the Sìshū and Wǔjīng editions in the jīngbù 經部. His extant attestations in Kanripo are the kǎozhèng appendices to:
- KR1h0003 Mèngzǐ zhùshū 孟子注疏 — kǎozhèng appendix.
- KR1h0007 Lúnyǔ zhùshū 論語注疏 — kǎozhèng appendix (with 呂熾).
The kǎozhèng genre, attached at imperial direction to the WYG copies, contains note-form remarks on textual variants, citation errors, and (where applicable) suggested emendations against earlier zhùshū editions; in volume it is small but it represents the Sìkù’s in-house philological labour.
