Yuán-period Cí’ēn-school 慈恩 / Yogācāra scholar-monk, Tōngjì 通際 (alt. 通濟), with the imperially-bestowed honorific Zōngfǎ yuánmíng tōngjì dàshī 宗法圓明通濟大師 (“Great Master of Sect-Doctrine, Perfect Illumination, and Comprehensive Salvation”). Lifedates unrecorded. Held the abbacy (xuānshòu 宣授, “imperially appointed”) of Huáiyìlù Yìtáisì 懷益路義臺寺 in the Huáiyì circuit (modern eastern Húběi / north-western Anhuī region under Yuán administration). Author of the influential two-fascicle introductory Yogācāra catechism KR6n0142 Wéishí kāiméng wèndá 唯識開蒙問答 (X55n0888) — one of the very few Yuán-period Yogācāra primers to survive, and a key textual link in the transmission of Cí’ēn doctrine across the Sòng / Yuán boundary into the late-Míng Fǎxiàng revival. Reissued in Chóngzhēn gēngwǔ 崇禎庚午 (1630) by the Gǔ Yánshòu Yuàn 古延壽院 monk Dàzhēn 大真, who supplied the Chóngkān Wéishí kāiméng báyǔ 重刻唯識開蒙跋語. Not to be confused with the Línjì-school Yúnfēng Miàogāo 雲峯妙高 (1219–1293, DILA A000472), a contemporary Chán master of a different line.
