Jìng Dàomó 靖道謨 (fl. early 18th c.), a Húguǎng (Jiānglíng 江陵) native, was a Kāngxī 60 (1721) jìnshì. He served as zhīzhōu of Yáozhōu 姚州 in Yúnnán under the Yōngzhèng emperor and was the principal biānzuǎn of two of the most important Yōngzhèng-cohort provincial gazetteers: the Yúnnán tōngzhì (KR2k0055) of 1736 and the Guìzhōu tōngzhì (KR2k0056) of 1741, both supervised by the YúnGuì Governor-General 鄂爾泰. His direct field experience in the YúnGuì gǎitǔ guīliú zone gave him an unusual qualification for documenting the transformation of the tǔsī system into regular bureaucratic administration.
