Wéi Hú 韋縠 (fl. 10th c., Hòu Shǔ)

A Jiānchá yùshǐ (Investigating Censor) of the HòuShǔ 後蜀 kingdom (934–965) in Chéngdū. Compiler of the Cáidiào jí 才調集 KR4h0019 in ten juǎn (one thousand poems, one hundred per juǎn), the largest of the Five-Dynasties Táng-poetry anthologies. His own preface gives biographical hints but no dates; the SKQS tíyào places him at the literary end of the Five Dynasties period, when “literary decay” was already in evidence. Nothing else of his career or family survives. No CBDB entry.
