Mǎhòu 馬后 (the catalog meta form) appears as the nominal author of the Wòjī jīng 握奇經 (KR3b0001) — the legendary military treatise traditionally attributed to Fēnghòu 風后, an archaic minister of the Yellow Emperor (Huángdì). The form 馬后 (instead of 風后) in the catalog meta may reflect a transcription error. The SKQS tíyào establishes the work as a Sòng-period production attributed to the legendary Fēnghòu — comparable in genre to the various pre-Qín-attributed military works also of demonstrable post-Qín composition (e.g. Sūnzǐ bīngfǎ’s long edited tradition). Per the SKQS, the work was composed by Sòng-period editors elaborating from Dúgū Jí 獨孤及 (Mid-Táng)‘s Bāzhèn tú jì 八陣圖記 and from Zhūgě Liàng’s 諸葛亮 bāzhèn fǎ tradition.
