Tǐqǐng 體請 (Tang dynasty, otherwise unknown) is the named author of the Dunhuang manuscript Shì Zhào xù 釋肇序 (KR6i0095 = T2776), a sub-commentary on Sēngzhào 僧肇’s preface to the Zhù Wéimójié jīng (KR6i0078 = T1775). His name does not appear in any major Buddhist biographical compilation (Gāosēng zhuàn, Sòng Gāosēng zhuàn, etc.), and his dates and monastic affiliation cannot be reconstructed. The Tang dating is established on the basis of the work’s preservation only in the Dunhuang manuscript corpus.
