Mid-Qiánlóng Manchu official, Hàn jūn xiāng huáng qí (Han-Banner Bordered Yellow); native of Liáoyáng, of the Gāo Jiǎshì 高佳氏 lineage. Zì Zhāodé 昭德; posthumous name Wénduān 文端. Son of Gāo Bīn 高斌, the prominent YōngzhèngQiánlóng water-conservancy official. Took office through hereditary privilege; served Qiánlóng as LiǎngJiāng Governor-General (1765–1779), Senior Grand Secretary, and director of multiple imperial compilations including the Qīndìng Nánxún Shèngdiǎn 欽定南巡盛典 (KR2m0039) of 1770.
