Wèi Wénzhōng 魏文中 (fl. mid-to-late 19th century; CBDB 37244, though dates are not recorded), courtesy name Zhèngyōng 正庸, pseudonym Fúchénzǐ 拂尘子 (“Dust-Brushing Master”), is a Qīng-dynasty fiction writer of otherwise obscure biographical background. He is known principally as the author of the Daoist allegorical novel KR4k0262 Xiù Yún Gé 绣云阁, whose first edition was published in 1869 (Tóngzhì 8) in Fùshùn County 富順縣, Sìchuān. His preface to that work indicates that he composed it during the Xiánfēng–Tóngzhì period, motivated by concern over the social upheavals of the Tàipíng era and the spread of heterodox beliefs. No further biographical information has been located. The CBDB entry at id 37244 records no birth or death years.
