Wèi Yìjiè 魏裔介 (1616–1686), zì Shíshēng 石生, hào Zhēn’ān 貞庵, posthumously Wényì 文毅, of Bǎixiāng 栢鄉 / 柏鄉 (Zhèngdìng prefecture, modern Héběi). CBDB id 34350; lifedates firm.
Jìnshì of Shùnzhì 3 (1646, bǐngxū); rose through the censorial and Hànlín hierarchies to Dàxuéshì 大學士 (Grand Secretary) under the Kāngxī emperor. A leading early-Qīng Lǐxué official, advocating a robust ChéngZhū orthodoxy and known for forthright censorial speech (“standing in court with marked breeze and integrity,” lì cháo pǒ zhù fēngjié, says the Sìkù tíyào). His extensive bibliography includes the Shèng xué zhī tǒng hé lù 聖學知統合錄, Sì shū dàquán zuǎnyào 四書大全纂要, Xiào jīng zhù yì 孝經註義, Shān bǔ Gāoshì zhuàn 刪補髙士傳, Lǐxué zhū rú yǔlù hé chāo 理學諸儒語錄合鈔, and the present Jiānjìtáng wénjí 兼濟堂文集 (KR4f0015) in 20-juan recension by his student Zhān Míngzhāng 詹明章. Earlier editorial recensions of his works include the Jiānjìtáng wénxuǎn 兼濟堂文選 (14 juan, Jiāngnán imprint, 1666) by [[彭士] Péng Shìbào] and Wú Bóqí 吳伯其, the Kūnlín xiǎopǐn 崑林小品 (Bei jīng imprint, 1670) by Hú Tóngshēng 胡同升, and the Línxià jí 林下集 self-imprint (Kāngxī 13 / 1674) of 81 pieces with a same-year supplement of 119 pieces.
