Huáng Xùn 黃訓 (fl. mid-sixteenth c.), zì Xuégǔ 學古, hào Shòusōng 瘦松, was a Míng official from Shèxiàn 歙縣 (Huīzhōu, modern Ānhuī). He passed the jìnshì in Jiājìng jǐchǒu 嘉靖己丑 (1529) and rose to Fù dū yùshǐ 副都御史 — the Sìkù tíyào identifies him simply as “Shèxiàn rén, Jiājìng jǐchǒu jìnshì, guān zhì Fù dū yùshǐ.”

His one surviving major work is the KR2f0040 Míngchén jīngjì lù 名臣經濟錄 in 53 juàn, an anthology of statecraft writings (memorials and related prose) from nine Míng reigns: Hóngwǔ, Yǒnglè, Hóngxī, Xuāndé, Zhèngtǒng, Jǐngtài, Tiānshùn, Chénghuà, Hóngzhì, Zhèngdé, Jiājìng (the Jiànwén reign deliberately omitted yǐ gé chú huì zhī yě, “to avoid mention of the deletion-of-reigns” — i.e. the Yǒnglè successor’s purging of Jiànwén-era references). The work is divided into ten administrative-bureau divisions: Kāiguó 開國, Bǎozhì 保治, Nèigé 內閣, Lìbù, Hùbù, Lǐbù, Bīngbù, Xíngbù, Gōngbù, and a joint Dūcháyuàn + Tōngzhèngsī + Dàlǐsì division. Within each, sub-categories follow the actual sub-bureau structure of the Míng administrative apparatus — a remarkably clear administrative-historical organization.

CBDB has multiple 黃訓 entries (id 48596, 87949, 135081, 321832, 362453, 480049) but none with a confident match for the Shèxiàn / Jiājìng 1529 jìnshì — likely entry 48596 (Sòng dynasty, no dates) is wrong. The Shèxiàn 黃訓 lifedates are not preserved in CBDB; he must be distinguished from a Qīng-period 黃訓 (CBDB id 87949, d. 1773).
