Early-Sòng (late 10th / early 11th century) historian, of obscure career: the Sìkù editors record that “his rank and place of origin are not preserved” 爵里未詳, and CBDB has no entry. He is known solely as the author of the Jiāngnán Yěshǐ 江南野史 KR2i0009, an “unofficial history” of the Southern Táng 南唐 (937–975) originally in 20 juàn with 84 biographies, of which 10 juàn and roughly 34 biographies survive. Zhèng Qiáo’s Tōngzhì lüè 通志略 cites the work at its original length; Cháo Gōngwǔ’s Jùnzhāi dúshū zhì preserves the original biography count. Lóng Gǔn’s lifedates are not recoverable; a floruit of c. 985–1020 — early enough to be cited by the Tōngzhì tradition, late enough to be a pure Sòng product post-Southern Táng — is defensible.
