永樂大典 Yǒnglè dàdiǎn
The early-Míng imperial encyclopedia compiled under the Yǒnglè 永樂 reign (1403–1408), originally in 22,937 juan. The largest premodern Chinese encyclopedia; only fragments survive, but the work preserves substantial passages of numerous lost or fragmentary Sòng and earlier titles that are otherwise unknown.
