About the work
The Sìbù cóngkān (SBCK) reprint of the imperially-revised Northern-Sòng Yùpiān — i.e., the same imperial recension treated under KR1j0022 (Chóngxiū Yùpiān, WYG version) but bearing its alternative Sòng-period title Dàguǎng yìhuì Yùpiān. The dictionary covers 30 juàn under 540 bùshǒu, transmitting the Liáng-period Yùpiān (543) of Gù Yěwáng 顧野王 in the Northern-Sòng recension produced by Chén Péngnián, Wú Ruì 吳銳, Qiū Yōng 丘雍 and others on imperial command (Dàzhōngxiángfú 6 / 1013). The SBCK base is the YuánMíng print line preserving the Sòng Dàguǎng yìhuì title — distinct from Zhāng Shìjùn’s later print which (per the Sìkù tíyào discussion under KR1j0022) wrongly claimed Shàngyuán-edition status while in fact transmitting the same Sòng chóngxiū text. Tiyao
No tiyao in source. The SBCK transmits the Sòng-period Yùpiān without the Sìkù imperial tíyào (the imperial preface to the Sòng work itself, by Chén Péngnián, is preserved). For the Sìkù tíyào on this work, see the WYG version KR1j0022.
Abstract
This entry is the SBCK transmission of the same Yùpiān recension treated more fully at KR1j0022. The SBCK base text descends from the YuánMíng print line which preserved the Northern-Sòng imperial title Dàguǎng yìhuì Yùpiān — referring to Chén Péngnián’s 陳彭年 re-edition of Dàzhōngxiángfú 6 (1013) which substantially expanded the Liáng-period text of Gù Yěwáng 顧野王 (presented 543) and the Táng-period augmentation by Sūn Qiáng (Shàngyuán 1, 674). The Sìkù imperial editors recognised this version as the one preserved in the Yǒnglè dàdiǎn and used by Yuán-period scholars. notBefore = notAfter = 1013, the year of Chén Péngnián’s revision.

Other points of interest
The presence of the Sòng-period title Dàguǎng yìhuì on the SBCK frontispiece is the signal that this is the post-1013 imperial revision — distinct from the lost original Liáng Yùpiān (only fragments of which survive in Yǒnglè dàdiǎn citations and a sixth-century manuscript fragment from the Yùnzhèngyuàn 元正院 in Japan, the Wǎnjuànzǐběn Yùpiān 篇玉殘卷, edited by Hú Jí 胡吉宣 1989).
