Abstract
Xiāngyáng was a regional center with strong literary and eremitic traditions. Of particular relevance to the texts in this division, it was the hometown of 習鑿齒 (author of the Hàn Jìn Chūnqiū, KR4k0346), and the textual community there produced several local histories. The Suí Shū 隋書 bibliography records a Xiāngyáng Jì (various recensions). The surviving fragments are extremely few — only a handful of lines — covering topographical and biographical notices. They were preserved in Táng and Sòng citations.
