A multi-stage hagiographic chronicle of the “Three Perfected Lords” of Mt Huá gài 華蓋山 (in Jiāng xī 江西) — the legendary Daoist immortals Fú qiū 浮丘公, Wáng Chǎn 王長, and Guō Xiù 郭秀 (the three zhēn jūn of the mountain). Original composition by Zhāng Yuánshū 章元樞 (fl. 1180), with subsequent additions and revisions culminating in a 1407 (Míng Yǒng lè 永樂 era) edition. Preserved in the Zhèngtǒng Dàozàng as DZ 779 / CT 779 (Dòngshén bù, Pǔ lù lèi 洞神部譜錄類).

The Three Perfected
Huá gài shān 華蓋山 (in Chóng rén 崇仁 county, Jiāng xī) is a sacred Daoist mountain associated with three legendary immortals who cultivated and ascended there — Fú qiū gōng 浮丘公, Wáng Chǎn 王長, and Guō Xiù 郭秀. The cult of the three was locally prominent in Jiāng xī through the SòngYuánMíng periods.
