Memorial Submitting the Life-Prolonging Red Book

The Táng Daoist Péi Xuàn’s memorial submitting the Yán shòu chì shū 延壽赤書 (“Red Book for Prolonging Life”) to the throne. The memorial is preserved together with the scripture proper (see KR5c0275) as the “a” and “b” parts of DZ 877. Péi styles himself “Zhōngnánshān mountain-forest subject” (Zhōngnán shān lín chén 終南山林臣).
