A Míng illustrated propaganda-record documenting the auspicious responses (ruì yìng 瑞應) of Xuán tiān shàng dì 玄天上帝 (Zhēn wǔ 真武) to the new Míng dynasty — specifically legitimizing the Yǒng lè emperor’s (Míng Chéng zǔ) violent usurpation as backed by Zhēn wǔ’s patronage. The Yǒng lè court massively patronised the Zhēn wǔ cult and Wǔ dāng shān, erecting a vast new Daoist complex there. Preserved as DZ 959 / CT 959 (Dòngshén bù, Jì chuán lèi 洞神部記傳類).
