Shào Yōng’s poetry collectionjī rǎng 擊壤 (“striking the ground”) evokes the carefree songs of the peasant in the legendary Jī rǎng gē 擊壤歌, signaling Shào’s recluse-philosopher persona. The verses integrate his cosmological system with everyday reflection. Preserved as DZ 1042 / CT 1042 (Tài xuán bù 太玄部).
