A short versified treatise on the gold elixir in exactly four hundred characters — a compact companion to the larger Wù zhēn piān 悟真篇. Pseudepigraphically attributed to Zhāng Bóduān; the extant recension is dated 1241. (Catalog meta renders Zhāng’s name as 張伯瑞 — a common variant of 張伯端.) Preserved as DZ 1081 / CT 1081 (Tài xuán bù 太玄部).
Dating. Attributed to Zhāng Bóduān (fl. 1070s); received recension Southern Sòng, 1241. Dynasty: 北宋-南宋.
