Collected-Commentary Edition of the Great-Mystery Scripture

The Tài xuán jīng 太玄經 — Yáng Xióng’s great Western-Hàn imitation of the Yì jīng, constructed on an 81-tetragram (rather than 64-hexagram) system. A major work of Hàn speculative philosophy. The Dào zàng edition (Jí zhù, collected commentary) presents the text with accumulated Hàn through Sòng commentaries. Preserved as DZ 1183 / CT 1183 (Tài qīng bù 太清部).

Dating. Core text c. 1 CE; commentaries Hàn through Sòng. Dynasty: 漢-宋.
