Zhōng nán bā zǔ shuō xīn yìn miào jīng jiě 終南八祖說心印妙經解
Exposition of the Mind-Seal Wondrous Scripture, Spoken by the Eight Patriarchs of the Southern-Marchmount-Terminus
planchette-attributed exposition by the Eight Patriarchs of Zhōngnánshān (the Lǚzǔ pantheon)
A very short fújī-revealed paraphrase of the Yù huáng xīn yìn miào jīng (cf. KR5i0017), framed as a divine sermon: the eight named planchette deities — 東華帝君 (Dōnghuá dìjūn), 正陽仙主 (= 鍾離權 Zhōnglí Quán), 道極天尊 (Dàojí tiānzūn), 孚佑上帝 (= 呂洞賓 Lǚ Dòngbīn), 普鍊祖師 (Pǔliàn zǔshī), 光垣尊仙 (Guāngyuán zūnxiān), 妙法元君 (Miàofǎ yuánjūn), 瑶華仙子 (Yáohuá xiānzǐ) — descend to the Bǎojué Tán 寶覺壇 (“Precious-Awakening Altar”) and expound the Xīn yìn jīng through a metaphysical homily on xīn and yìn (“heart and seal”), the six aperture-effects, the Three Pure Elixirs, and the meridian-points of zǐwǔ and mǎoyǒu. The piece concludes with the Eight Patriarchs’ closing 偈 (gāthā): “the chaotic primordial Heaven and Earth split into one pneuma; the true essence’s marvellous union produces the green-cloud living-being…”

Abstract
A short Qīng fújī-derived paraphrase / dramatic exposition of the canonical Xīn yìn jīng. The text and KR5i0017 are a planchette-pair: KR5i0017 is the canonical text + verse-by-verse joint commentary from the Eight-Cavern Patriarchs as scholarly commentators; KR5i0018 is the same Eight Patriarchs preaching the scripture as a single divine address to a fictional audience of “modern disciples” gathered at the planchette altar. Both date c. 1700–1750 within the Lǚzǔ planchette milieu that produced most of the DZJY exegetical apparatus.
The framing fiction names the Eight Patriarchs by formal cult-titles, two of which are easily resolved to historical immortals: Zhèngyáng xiānzhǔ = Zhōnglí Quán; Fúyòu shàngdì = Lǚ Dòngbīn. The remaining six are either the standard set of southern-school inner-alchemical patriarchs (Liú Hǎichán, Lǚ Dòngbīn, Wáng Chóngyáng, Mǎ Dānyáng, etc.) or generic planchette personae internal to this particular cult-circle.
