Heart-Transmission of the Supreme Way’s Pole-of-the-All-Penetrating-Mystery, by the Immortal Patriarch Gě

A short Qīng fújī-revealed nèidān compendium attributed to the deified Gě Xuán, summarising the inner-alchemical xìngmìng curriculum in two-character mnemonic verses pivoted on a Tài jí hán yī tú 太極含一圖 (“Diagram of Containing-the-One in the Supreme Pole”) — a graphical scheme illustrating the unification of the Five Numinous Elements (jīngshénhúnpòyì 精神魂魄意 — Essence-Spirit-Hún--Intention) at the spirit-position. The base-text rule “the xīn is the tàijí; the tàijí is the xīn” anchors the work in the standard Sòng xīnxué heart-mind centred discourse; the alchemical operationalisation that follows is a faithful summary of Quánzhēn / Lóngmén southern-school practice.

Prefaces

The text opens with a brief zàn and the diagram-prologue: “The supreme Way’s heart-transmission, exposed in form on paper-and-brush — without the right person, hard to transmit; without the right virtue, hard to bring to fruition. The formula exhausts the mystery-subtle, in the world rarely seen. Gold treasure exists in the world; the immortal-formula does not exist in the world. Whoever is fortunate to encounter this formula, diligently practising it ascends to the immortal-capital. — Refining the elixir has its own true furnace-and-stove; why bend down toward outward seeking? When the heart is still, the body itself fixes; with body-and-heart still-and-fixed, you see the elixir-head. — Essence, spirit, hún, , intention — gathered together returning to the spirit-position. With stillness at the limit you see Heaven’s heart, and naturally spirit-and-clarity convene.” The signature Níngyángzǐ zuǎn (compiled) appears at the head; no other preface or date.

Abstract

A short Qīng fújī-revealed inner-alchemical compendium. The framing of the text under the cult-title Gě xiān wēng (= the deified Eastern-Wú alchemist Gě Xuán) places it in the planchette tradition that posited Gě Xuán as the source of the long-time Cháng qīng jìng jīng transmission lineage (cf. KR5i0008, where Gě Xuán is similarly invoked). The compiler Níngyángzǐ is otherwise unidentified — likely a Lóngmén planchette persona internal to the same DZJY-source milieu of Liǔ Shǒuyuán’s circle. Composition c. 1700–1809.

The diagrammatic-mnemonic structure is conventional southern-school nèidān with a Sòng Tàijí-tradition coloration; nothing in the doctrinal content is novel.
