Treasure-Repentance of the Most-High Limitless Great-Way for Extending Life, Gathering Fortune, and Dispelling Calamity

anonymous Daoist liturgical bǎo chàn (treasure-repentance)

A liturgical repentance text addressed to the Three-Pure境 (Sān qīng jìng), structured in the standard Daoist kē yí sequence: opening zàn (encomium), kāi chàn zàn (beginning-of-repentance encomium), fú yǐ (formal-statement), qǐ shī (initiating sequence), xiàng shèng (turning-toward-the-saints) — with the petitioner’s bāi sān qīng yìng huà tiān zūn / Jīn quē Yù huáng tiān zūn etc. The text covers the standard themes of life-extension, fortune-gathering, and calamity-dispelling — the standard yángshēng trinity of Daoist devotion.

Abstract

A standard Daoist bǎo chàn (treasure-repentance) liturgy in the Three-Pure境 cult-register. The text is CK-EX in source-Witness — i.e., part of the Bǎoshàn / xù kè (continued-engraving) supplement to DZJY rather than the original 1809 corpus. Composition c. 1700–1906; specific dating not internally available. The work is liturgically continuous with the broader bǎo chàn tradition (cf. KR5i0076 Chàn fǎ dà guān).
