About the work
A four-fascicle commentary by Triratnadāsa 三寶尊菩薩 on the verse-summary Prajñāpāramitā-piṇḍārtha-saṃgraha of Dignāga 大域龍菩薩 (the root-treatise of which is preserved separately as T1518). Translated by Dānapāla 施護 in the Northern-Sòng Yìjīngyuàn. Signature: 「三寶尊菩薩造／大域龍菩薩造本論／西天譯經三藏…賜紫沙門臣施護等奉詔譯」. The Taishō header cross-references T1518 — the root-treatise — with which T1517 forms a verse-and-commentary pair.

Abstract
T1517 / T1518 together represent the Indic Yogācāra-school verse-summary and exegesis of the Prajñāpāramitā tradition: Dignāga’s verse-compendium of the essential topics of the Aṣṭasāhasrikā, with Triratnadāsa’s prose-commentary. The translation falls within Dānapāla’s documented Northern-Sòng activity (980–1018). The works are doctrinally important as showing the integration of Prajñāpāramitā doctrine within the Indic Yogācāra epistemological tradition.
