The sectional-analysis (kē 科) volume of the three-text Fǎhuá jīng kēshí commentarial complex by 佛閑 Fóxián 佛閑 of Pǔdésì 普德寺 in Nánjīng, with re-redaction (chóngdìng 重訂) by 智一 Zhìyī 智一. The work is the navigational apparatus to the Kēshí main commentary (KR6d0094) and follows the standard Sòng-Yuán-Míng-Qīng editorial pattern of providing structural-outline navigational aids for major commentarial productions.
Prefaces
The text in the X33n0627 recension carries the standard front matter and consists exclusively of hierarchical structural diagrams showing the kēpàn sectional division of the Kēshí main commentary.
Abstract
The Kēshí kē belongs together with the Kēshí xuántán juànshǒu (KR6d0092) as the auxiliary navigational apparatus to the Kēshí main commentary (KR6d0094). The dating is securely fixed by Zhìyī’s 1705 preface (preserved in KR6d0092).
