About the work
A single-juan Southern-Sòng compilation by Shízhī Zōngxiǎo 石芝宗曉 (1151–1214) of materials documenting the Bǎoyúnsì 寶雲寺 Tiāntái lineage — the institutional centre under Bǎoyún Yìtōng 寶雲義通 (義通, 927–988) at which Sìmíng Zhīlǐ received his Tiāntái formation. Companion to Yuánwù’s parallel Luóxī zhènzǔ jí (KR6d0223).
Abstract
The composition is bracketed within Zōngxiǎo’s productive period c. 1180–1214.
