About the work
This 1-fascicle text is the second Taishō recension (T0315b) of 竺法護 Zhú Fǎhù’s Pǔ mén pǐn jīng, parallel to T0315a. The two recensions preserve the same translation in slightly different states, with T0315b drawing on the Sòng (宋), Yuán (元), Palace (宮) and other witnesses rather than the Korean.

Abstract
The translation belongs to 竺法護 Zhú Fǎhù’s Cháng’ān period (266 – 313 CE). The two-recension preservation in the Taishō provides exceptional comparative-philological apparatus for studying the textual history of Zhú Fǎhù’s translation work.
The Taishō text (T0315b) is established on the standard non-Korean witnesses.
