Abstract
The Bùsīyì gōngdé zhū fó suǒ hùniàn jīng (T14n0445) is an anonymous two-fascicle text belonging to the broader fómíng devotional tradition. The concept of Buddhas offering “protective mindfulness” (hùniàn) to practitioners is a key theme in Pure Land Buddhism and related devotional currents; it appears prominently in the Amitābhasūtra 阿彌陀經 (T366) and is here generalized to “all Buddhas” (zhū fó 諸佛) rather than Amitābha specifically. The two-fascicle format suggests a somewhat more developed text than the single-fascicle prototypes in this group. The anonymous status and assignment to the Qín-period records place it in the 4th–early 5th century CE.
