About the work
The Fóshuō Fódà Sēngdà jīng (T541) is a one-fascicle short sūtra by Jǔqú Jīngshēng 沮渠京聲 (沮渠京聲). The two protagonists Fódà 佛大 (“Buddha-the-Great”) and Sēngdà 僧大 (“Saṅgha-the-Great”) are paired Buddhist disciples whose names emphasize their devotion to the Three Jewels.
