About the work
The Fóshuō lǎo nǚrén jīng (T559) is a one-fascicle short sūtra by Zhī Qiān 支謙 (支謙). It opens a small “old woman” cluster (KR6i0191–0193) in which an aged woman becomes the Buddha’s interlocutor on questions of life, death, and aging.

Abstract
A short sūtra in which an old woman queries the Buddha about the four sufferings (birth, aging, illness, death). Translation dated to Zhī Qiān’s Wú productive period (222–252 CE).
