About the work
The Fóshuō Dàshèng liúzhuǎn zhūyǒu jīng (T577) is a one-fascicle Mahāyāna sūtra translated by Yìjìng 義淨 (義淨). It is another rendering of the Bhava-saṅkrānti corpus already represented at KR6i0207 (Bodhiruci I) and KR6i0208 (Buddhaśānta). Yìjìng’s version is later, more idiomatically Tang-dynasty Buddhist Chinese, and reflects his characteristic terminological choices for bhava, vijñāna, and pratibimba.

Abstract
A short doctrinal sūtra on the transmigration of consciousness (vijñāna) through the three realms of existence (tribhava), explained by the simile of a reflection that transmits without substantial transfer. Translation datable within Yìjìng’s main Cháng’ān translation period 700–711 CE (after his return from India in 695 and before his death in 713).
