Sūxīdì jiéluó gòngyǎng fǎ 蘇悉地羯羅供養法

Method of Offering of the Susiddhikara (recension A, 3 fascicles) by 善無畏 (Śubhakarasiṃha, 譯)

About the work

A three-fascicle ritual offering manual by Śubhakarasiṃha (善無畏) accompanying the Susiddhikara-sūtra (KR6j0061, T18n0893a). The text codifies the gòngyǎng (offering / pūjā) sequences for the Susiddhikara tradition. It is one of two parallel recensions of the same ritual codification (companion to T894b = KR6j0064 in two-fascicle form).

Abstract

The Gòngyǎng fǎ gives the systematic offering-ritual structure for the Susiddhikara practice — the kriyā-tantra offering sequence covering the preparation of substances, the mudrā-mantra-visualisation sequences for each offering, and the merit-dedication. The text is a working ritual manual paired with the foundational Susiddhikara-sūtra itself.

The translation dates from Śubhakarasiṃha’s mature Chángān period (724–735).
