Abstract
Fǎ Xiǎn’s commentary is one of the more compact Tang-period treatments of the Fànwǎng precepts. It draws on the major preceding commentaries (智顗 Zhìyǐ–灌頂 Guàndǐng’s Púsàjiè yìshū KR6k0078, 法藏 Fǎzàng’s Fànwǎngjīng púsàjièběn shū KR6k0080) while presenting a more summary exposition suited to instructional use.
