Abstract
Authorship. Per DILA A019266 and the juan-1 xù: trained extensively under 圓悟 Mìyún Yuánwù at Tiāntóng and Dōngshān Ěrmì 東山爾密 (1590–1642). Decisive xǐng on the candle-extinguishment exchange with Ěrmì when an attendant accidentally put out a liúlí dēng 琉璃燈 lamp and Ěrmì cried huǒ niè 火聻 (“where is the fire?”) with the attendant’s reply yǒu zài zhèlǐ 有在這裡 (“right here”). Final transmission via Miánshí Jìngyùn 眠石淨蘊 at Tiāntái Hùguósì 天台護國寺 (the chéng sì Hùguó 承嗣護國 reference). Three documented abbacies: Jíshān Jièzhūsì 蕺山戒珠寺 in Shàoxīng (his native region); Wújiāng Yùzhǐān 吳江喻指菴 (Sūzhōu prefecture); Líchuān Luóhànsì 黎川羅漢寺 (Jiāngxī). Lifedates not preserved in DILA.
Dating. notBefore = c. 1635 (post-Mì-yún / Dōngshān Ěrmì training period; both teachers died 1642). notAfter = 1670 as a conservative bound for the post-decease compilation by Déliàng + Déé.
Lineage. Cáo-dòng-school heir of Miánshí Jìngyùn at Tiāntái Hùguó (a Cáodòng seat); the cross-school training with Línjì-line Mìyún and Ěrmì illustrates the cross-lineage practice common in the late-Míng / early-Qīng period.

Translations and research
- No substantial Western-language secondary literature located.
Other points of interest
- Jíshān Jièzhūsì. The Jíshān Jièzhūsì in Shàoxīng was a noted Wáng Xīzhī 王羲之 calligraphy site (the jièzhū tàizǐ 戒珠太子 stone). Zhìjìng’s abbacy there continued the literati-Buddhist tradition of the Yánshān region.
- Cross-school training pattern. The Línjì → Cáodòng training-trajectory (Mìyún / Ěrmì → Miánshí Jìngyùn) parallels that documented elsewhere in this Jiāxīng cluster (cf. KR6q0455, KR6q0464) — illustrating the porous late-Míng / early-Qīng cross-school pedagogy.
