Other points of interest
The 43 fǎsì — among the largest disciple-cohorts in the entire J40 sequence — places Déshēn alongside 如相 敏樹 (24 fǎsì) and 淨瑩 元潔 (40 fǎsì) as one of the major 32nd-generation LínjìYángqí lineage-builders. The qǐngyì sub-section in juan 2–3 is unusually detailed in named lay-recipient form, providing a substantial register of Sìchuān / Guìzhōu lay-Buddhist gentry contacts.
