Nakagawa Shigeaki / Seishō 中川成章 (late-Edo Kanpō practitioner, fl. 1840s–1860s), Japanese physician active in the closing decades of the Tokugawa period. Lifedates poorly attested in standard reference works; not in CBDB.
His one preserved Chinese-medical work catalogued here is the Zhèngzhì zhāiyào 證治摘要 (KR3eh026), a digest of Chinese internal-medicine zhèngzhì 證治 (syndrome-and-treatment) literature compiled as a teaching condensation for Japanese students of kanpō 漢方. The work’s editorial method — stripping Chinese sources to clinical essentials in the manner of the Edo koihō 古醫方 movement — places Nakagawa within the late-Edo programme of recovering Han-formula therapy as the doctrinal anchor of kanpō practice.
