Yú Lìzhèng 于立政

Yú Lìzhèng 于立政 (fl. 656–666; CBDB id 31486), early to mid-Táng official and compiler. Active during the reign of Táng Gāozōng 唐高宗 (r. 650–683). He is the attributed compiler of the Lèilín 類林 (Forest of Categories), a topical anecdote collection originally comprising 50 categories (mén 門) of moral exempla drawn from canonical texts and histories, which served as a source for examination study and ethical instruction. The Lèilín is recorded in the Jiù Táng shū · Jīngjí zhì and Xīn Táng shū · Yìwén zhì under the zájiā 雜家 classification.

The Lèilín was greatly expanded in the Jīn dynasty by 王朋壽 of Píngyáng in 1189, resulting in the Zēngguǎng fēnmén lèilín záshuo 增廣分門類林雜說 (KR3k0080).
