Liú Rìshēng 劉日升, Wànlì-era Míng official and editor. Together with 陳道亨 Chén Dàohēng collated and cut to woodblocks the Míng print-edition of 楊簡 Yáng Jiǎn’s Yángshì Yì zhuàn (KR1a0037) that became the Sìkù base-text. The Sìkù editors infer from divergences against 朱彝尊 Zhū Yízūn’s Jīngyì kǎo record of two distinct shorter Yáng-Jiǎn writings (the 10-juan Cíhú Yì jiě and 1-juan Yǐ Yì) that Liú Rìshēng and Chén Dàohēng substantially restructured the work in the late-Wànlì publishing context.
