Wú Zélǐ 吳則禮 (d. Xuānhé 3 / 1121), zì Zǐfù 子副, hào Běihú jūshì 北湖居士, of Fùchuān 富川 (Yùzhāng / Jiāngxī). Son of the noted Rénzōng-era censor Wú Zhōngfù 吳中復 (Tiě yùshǐ — “Iron Censor”). Through his father’s yīn (hereditary privilege) entered office; reached Zhí Mìgé, Zhī Guózhōu. At some point in mid-career was demoted to Jīngzhōu (the Cù bǎiyōu jí xíng poem refers to this). Late in life retired to Yùzhāng, taking the hào Běihú jūshì. Died at Guózhōu; his son Wú Jiōng 吳坰 collected his works as Běihú jí 北湖集 KR4d0117 in 30 juǎn with a preface by Hán Jū 韓駒 dated Xuānhé rényín (1122). Associates included Táng Gēng 唐庚 唐庚, Hán Jū, Zēng Yū 曾紆, Chén Shīdào 陳師道 陳師道 — solidly within the late-Yuányòu / Jiāngxī school’s pre-formation network. Sìkù reconstruction is 5 juǎn. The catalog gives “d. 1121” — confirmed.
