地藏

Dìzàng (Sanskrit: Kṣitigarbha)

Mahāyāna bodhisattva of “Earth Treasury”, patron of beings in the mòfǎ 末法 (latter dharma) age and savior of those bound for the lower destinies including hell. The principal Chinese scriptural witnesses are the Daśacakra-kṣitigarbha-sūtra (KR6h0014 / KR6h0015) and the Dìzàng běnyuàn jīng (KR6h0016).
