Dàyuè 大悅, zì Tiānyī 天一 (“Heaven-One”); often referred to as Tiānyī Dàyuè 天一大悅 or Sōngkuī Tiānyī 松巋天一. LínjìYángqí dharma-heir of Shànquán Dáwèi 達位 (1619–1684). Born 1631 (estimated); died 康熙丁丑孟冬 = 1697-11-14 to 1697-12-12 (lunar 10), age 67. “Wúmiè hòu bùláo pánxīn fèishì, shēngzàng kě yě” — final words: “After my passing, do not waste effort on fuel and ceremony — burial alive (i.e. without cremation) is enough.”
