Sòng-era Chán monk of the chuánfǎ shāmén 傳法沙門 rank at the Zhāngjiāng Chán Yuàn 章江禪院 in Lóngshā 龍沙 (= Nánchāng 南昌, Jiāngxī, the regional name “Lóngshā” being a literary epithet for the city); author of two short commentaries on Péi Xiū’s prefaces to the Yuánjué jīng commentary apparatus: KR6i0566 Yuánjué jīng xùzhù (X10 no. 255) on Péi’s preface to the sūtra, and KR6i0567 Yuánjué jīng lüèshū xùzhù (X10 no. 256) on Péi’s preface to Zōngmì’s Lüèshū. His lifedates and biographical details are not preserved; the works themselves carry no date and his active period is bracketed at 1100–1279 on the basis of internal evidence and dependence on a fully developed Zōngmì exegetical apparatus.
